Common behavior management techniques in the classroom do not work on children with neurological disorders, but what does?

Mike Sumler, LMFT has worked with children with Tourette, OCD, and those on the Autism Spectrum for more than a decade and he has proven techniques that work for educators.

Conference participants will learn to:
Recognize symptoms associated with neurological disorders of Tourette, OCD and HFA and how they impact learning and family life
Develop a framework for understanding the behaviors of children with neurological disorders and apply effective interventions
Identify classroom strategies that lead to success
Identify appropriate accommodations to help the child at school and in extracurricular activities

This is an all day conference (9:00-3:00). Registration fee includes breakfast, lunch and snacks. Space is limited so please register early.
