Parents are welcome to stay with their students or to go next door to hear Dr. Tracy Ochester talk about Mindfulness.
This program offers swim lessons for individuals ages 4-30 with special needs. Classes are modified to work with each participant on individual needs while learning basic water safety and swimming skills. Adaptive Swim Lessons maintain an instructor to participant ratio of one to one or one to two.

Swim opportunities are available for children and young adults with special needs through our Y Challenger program. Classes are modified to work with each participant, ages 5+, on an individual basis and adapted to facilitate their abilities. Certified instructors teach basic water safety and swimming skills to help participants gain confidence in and around the water. An application must be filled out in order for participants to be matched with and instructor.
