We invite participants into the museum an hour before we open to the public in order to provide a quiet and low-stimulating environment where you can enjoy hands-on art activities and art in the galleries. Join the Kansas City Zoo in support of Celebrating All Abilities Day on Sunday, April 5. This inclusion event welcomes all families that include an individual with special needs to enjoy a day at the Zoo. The Zoo will provide FREE admission to individuals with special needs and reduced admission of $8 per person for those accompanying them at the Zoo. The day will feature quiet rooms, sensory friendly activities & shows, & so much more from 10 am to 3 pm.
