Parenting a child with High-Functioning Autism, Asperger, Tourette Syndrome, OCD and associated disorders presents with unique challenges. Many parents find themselves frustrated with the day-to-day struggles, which can lead to even more difficulties.

  • Session 1: A New Framework: This session will focus on recognizing the specific deficits and learning how to teach specific skills to your child. You will walk away with a different framework of parenting than you were taught, guaranteed!
  • Session 2: Interventions that Work: You won’t hear about charts, marbles, or stickers in this session. Interventions will be presented that are not generic, but specific to a child with neurological disorders. 
  • Session 3: Handling the Pressures of Parenting: “Sometimes I just want to scream!” Ever felt this way? This workshop focuses on those feelings of frustration that overwhelm us and make it hard to parent even on a good day.
