As a parent with child who has been diagnosed with autism or a related disability you don’t know what you don’t know. The Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities training program (KU LEND) at the University of Kansas Medical Center is excited to announce our new Family Education Series for ALL Kansas families.

Our 1st workshop will be “IEP Development” presented by Leia Holley from Families Together, Inc.

Registration is not required but encouraged for planning purposes. You may participate either in-person or through Facebook live on the KU LEND page. Please note that child care is not available.

Mark your calendars, this is an ongoing series with a new workshop on the 2nd Thursday of each month, with the exception of July and December. A few of the future topics include supported decision making, self-determination, transition and advocacy.
